About the Journal

Journal of Islamic Civilization and Occidental Studies (JIOS) is a scholarly, peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original research articles, reviews, and translations in the fields of Islamic Civilization and Occidental Studies. The journal aims to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and understanding between Islamic and Western civilizations and to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in both fields.
JIOS published by Centre for Islamic and Occidental Studies, Universitas Darussalam Gontor, Indonesia. It is semiannual journal published in June and December for the developing the scientific ethos. We accept submission from all over the world. Our Editorial Team and Reviewers members are active international researchers in Islamic and Occidental Studies fields who ensure efficient, fair, and constructive peer-review process. All accepted articles will be published and will be freely available to all readers with worldwide visibility and coverage. The submitted manuscript would be check for plagiarism using by turnitin with maximum tolerance 25 percent.
